I just priced it up on the Delta web site. Its €6981.52 for four people which is about £5950.

There don;t seem to be any child fares on this route and class. I wasn't getting the option for one anyway.

It's quoting me $3150 per passenger with a single stop in Atlanta. It's $1745 stopping in Amsterdam and then Minneapolis. By the time I add on travel to Dublin and an overnight stay it's not really worth the hassle.

Sounds like a lot of hassle. But it's also not much more than going with Icelandair via Reykjavik (and adding a sneaky couple of days in my most fave place on earth).

Not easy to get to Copenhagen from here either. It's much cheaper but with all the extra travelling and flight times its less time in the places we actually want to be.

No worries.
It looks like your preferred option A is now a complete non starter. Plan Bs are never going to be ideal, but can be handy as a point of reference.

It looks like your now between a rock and a hard place.
