  • Wrong again,

Those spaces are in my deeds saying I have a right to use them and as stated never said I owned them but you did. I responded by saying I had a right to use them and the other neighbour does not. So again you have posted up something which does not prove your point or go against what I was saying.

This post is about what I can do as this other neighbour has no rights to use them and says in my deeds I do.

So you comment with saying it is not an issue and then try and say I do not own them. Your 1st point is your opinion so why comment at all if you disagree with my initial post and your 2nd post is telling my I do now own them which I never said I did. I am stating about rights is use which I have and the Neighbour does not.

You are clearly not here to help as you are stating stuff which I have never said and your own opinion on whether it is an issue or not which I never asked for

Sue him for trespassing, hire a management company to regulate your parking, put up parking barriers at your own expense and give the other neighbours access.

How much do you want to spend and how deep are your pockets?

What did the people with the vans say when you spoke to them?

Have you tried getting hold of a copy of the other householder's deeds. They should be freely available, for a small fee, from the Land Registry.

Be very careful what you ask for - you might get it.

The ONLY way to enforce use of those spaces is by bringing in a parking management company, with the authority to issue a penalty charge to unauthorised users.
  • I could do all of those things but before jumping the gun I am coming on here for help and a bit of advice from people who have expertise or experience from this. Most people commenting have given that and read exactly what my post was asking and asked for more info if needed, not just dismissed my post.

At my post says I am going to make sign and stick them up and yes as you say there are several steps which I may or may not choose to do depending on what happens
  • What do you mean people with the vans sorry?
  • Not thought of that as was not aware you could get the deeds for other households but cheers, will try that
  • Yeah I know what the extreme measures could be but if it comes to it I already have something agreed with the neighbours that would sort it before then if comes to that but I am hoping a note on the parking spaces may suffice but we will see

Well you could try speaking to them and explain the situation. Having their own drive way and with there being absolutely no signage up they may not be aware that that parking is allocated and like any right minded person would do they see them as parking spots which are being unused and for anyone to use.

Always find it mildly humorous that to a certain type of person getting all worked up and putting signs all over the place and starting a crusade seems to be the first course of action and that knocking on the door and having a polite chat is inconceivable. I can only count my blessings that I don't live on such an estate with such people in it nor ever will.
