Thinking of buying this house.

Also as has been pointed out, the upstairs bedroom is not a bedroom. Doesn't even have a door!
If you look at google maps, it is on the smallest plot in the street - all the other houses have extended back properly. You might be able to put a small extension on, but conservatories are a big no no for me.
Those aren't necessarily old, it's a choice whether you have those or set in the walls. Our house had old plaster so we had those when our place was rewired about eight years ago.0 -
There is a parking problem. http://www.nottinghampost.com/gedling-country-park-car-park-problems-for-residents/story-30057821-detail/story.html0

I guess there will always be people with an irrational prejudice against bungalows, so it might take longer to shift one than a conventional 2 storey house. The photos aren't inspiring and make the mock tudor styling all the more incongruous against the blank, modern(-ish) background, but fundamentally it seems to be priced like a 3 bed house in a nice area, whereas it's really a 2 bed bungalow in a slightly less nice area.0

At least it isn't down in the village where it floods regularly.

someone's interested in it, its SSTC. OP?Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!
Mortgage free II: New Year's Eve 2013!
Mortgage free III: Est. Dec 2021...0 -
Goes to show what a difference in opinions there is, as i personally love the dark beams.
As someone mentioned above you can re-order the bathroom without moving the boiler.
If something like this came up in my areas, i would definitely be interested. It is livable, not a complete mess that needs work before moving in. That way, i would do one room at a time etc0 -
I think it's horrid and has too much different coloured wood and exposed brickwork, giving it a cold feeling. I noticed it was sold stc, too.0

Yes, it's sold STC today. I just didn't like it quite enough to buy it. It's fallen through before. We'll see what happens.0
