I find it quite nice to spread out the better quality stuff, that way I have purpose to finish of the cheapies.
Couple of UUs from me, the Baylis & Harding showergel is gone :j WDNBA! Was a team effort to use the jelly non smelly gloop that they call showergel.

I throw out 2 mascaras one waterproof and the other normal. They were over three months old and the lid broke on one of them.
I have more in reserve. I was rather pleased with my foundation mixture'- lancome, guerain and whiting drops, with a dash of in1 mac? It stayed so well all day and did not split or wear away. Hopefully it may be a great using up of foundations that were lingering around the house.0 -
Welcome LEJC! I've also built up a stash from free items, my aim now is to really start using up the best of what I have.
Other lurkers, please do join in...
NBI of some temporary hair colour, (peach) but I have to lighten mine first before I can use it.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Welcome LEJC.
maddiemay - thanks yes I love Caroline hirons, will have a read back through and refresh my memory about what she says about retinol.
Savingfortomorrow - thanks, I probably should go to my gp I just feel a bit embarrassed as I know my skin could be a lot worse. The scarring does get me down though. It's odd as I had acne throughout my teens and 20s but it cleared up for a few years. It then came back again 6 months ago and I haven't changed anything (diet, skincare etc). Pretty sure it is hormone related.0 -

You are welcome:D, pretty sure that CH has posts on acne too as she developed it again as an adult.:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Thank you all for the lovely welcome.
I am marching on with the current batch of lotions and potions trying to use them up although it seem to be in the period where everything is either not long opened or still half full...so no where near being able to see more empty bottle/container than product!
I'm currently using
JR Naturorganics mandarin & chamomile hydrating mist
Neals Yard oil free hydrating serum
Boots no7 protect and perfect night cream
Oils of life eye cream
Boots no7 lippy
unknown firming body oil
I sadly woke up to 5 emails from a testing site which I felt would be rude to ignore...its a case of wanting to apply to test the product rather than needing to!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0
