Today I am grateful for our library, for sunshine, for the athletics to watch as I stuffed 36 bunny limbs, for finding a gluten-free and dairy free 'ice cream' that dd adores, for a decent chat with mum.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Spend day today. My turn for groceries. £49.74, which takes me to £136.66, well over my target and that's not including the £20 for chicken on Monday, and BF has asked me to pick up the tab next week too as he has had 2 days of work sick and will be a little short.
I've done a couple of extra hours at work today, so that will boost my pay check next week, so swings & roundabouts.
Today I am grateful for free steak, clean sheets on the bed and the knowledge I have a day off tomorrow

A NSD for me, wanted things but made do with what I had in, throw it in the oven for lunch and the remainder of my salad and roast beef for tea.
I am doing well with my sewing, nearly finished the pattern bit and then the part I have to make up (whilst checking that I can attach the bottom border without a lot of fiddling about). They have put the heating on, so I moved some clothes onto the radiators to dry.
Today I am grateful for free and easy food, for relaxing and for the support of the turtles. Thank you all.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
I managed a NSD yesterday which takes me to 9/15. Today I spent £16.67 at the supermarket, me and OH made a meal plan and only bought what was on the list. Today I'm grateful for a day off, a good run this morning, spending time with OH, yummy egg fried rice and prawns for tea and catchup tv.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Morning turtles.
Just deciding what to do today. Think I will cancel electrician coming to be honest not 100% sure about his abilities. The outside light can wait a week or so, might get a friend to do it instead.
That would leave me a free day as done household jobs this am, even the ironing. Going to have a nice day out somewhere as hate going back to work on Monday when done nothing. Try for a SFD as well :-)LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Morning,
Have managed two more SFDs, slowly working through freezer and cupboards. Know I have to do a big stock up shop this month but good to use up random assortment of things that are just siting there for months (years!!) before I do.
Mood has been a little down for last week or so, have left housework slide, getting up for work is horrific struggle etc. Going to commit to gym classes properly this week in the hope some regular exercise will help. No more bringing the bag to work and then just going home instead of class.
Grateful for
WhatsApp especially the audio messages
Catch up tv and the internet behaving so could watch lots of SVU

Think today is going to have to be one of those days where I put a timer on to do 20 mins of stuff I want to do followed by 1 annoying job off the list. I have loads of annoying jobs but want to sit on my bum. That's my compromise. Not giving up

Foxy Sympathies on the little Foxes not wanting to go out. I really struggled with that in the summer holidays.
Well if nothing else it was cheap.
Having been a kid with working parents and basically left to occupy ourselves in the holidays with not a lot to do and subsequently being bored out of my head, I think I am swinging toward the other end of the scale, where I want to do something with them every day. Even if it is just a hour in the park, but with DS1 being 14 and DS4 being 7, and the wide discrepancy between when they get out of bed, and what they consider worth leaving the house for, they are the best saboteurs of all my well laid plans.
But with the 4 of them, they are rarely bored cos there is always someone to talk to, or roll around on the floor, or hide under a blanket with. That or they just lack all motivation:rotfl:4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Yesterday ended up being a NSD - so I'm now at 9/15! Today has been a spendy day - need to go shopping and ordered some things from fleabay.
I weighed myself this morning and I've put on 3 lbs on a week! That doesn't feel quite fair!!! I'm hoping most of this is monthly bloat if you catch my meaning but I'm super determined to see a real, tangible loss next week!!
I'm grateful for
1) the dishwasher
2) the washing machine
3) having above appliances which make chores easy. Well, those ones at least!February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00

Hi everyone
Mood much better now, beds stripped off and in the washer, cleaned the bedroom and found biscuit wrappers pushed under the bed they used more like teenagers than grown up people!!!! Still all done now and never again!!!
Sat down now with a coffee after managing to do a couple of hours tidying in the garden as its 'green' bin day tomorrow. I just have to go through the my budget to see if I can fiddle some money from somewhere for the rest of the month. DD 1 is taking me out for our monthly lunch tomorrow, I paid last month so looking forwards to that we always do this as its nice to catch up without kids being present so we can talk about anything, her hubby has Monday's off so he's available for sitting!!!
So sfd today but not sure how many I'm up to so I will try to get as many as possible before the end of the month. Right I will have a quick catchup before I start some more cleaning.
