Debt Demolisher

Haven't caught up with your diary for a few days, sorry to hear about your dog, such a sad time when you lose a pet.
Unenforceable debt sounds positive, it sounds like you're really keeping on top of all the paperwork and management of the DMP.Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.0 -

Hi TOPM and thank you. The vet bills are all paid now but has left us basically back to square one. Although it's a bonus that we've managed to pay it out of our own money and not the dreaded CCs. I will work on building up the funds again each month and move on from there.
I've found self managing easier than I'd expected to be honest. It's only from what I've learnt on this site. It's a Godsend. It also feels better to be in control of the payments etc. It's tiring this debtbusting isn't it at times.

Hi again
Debt-busting really is like snakes and ladders at times. But you will get there, and I am sure you will then support others through your own experience.
Have a lovely weekend all who visit here.0 -

Hi tips and welcome back. I WILL get there one day, that I do know. My overall total has reduced a bit due to the unenforceable one so I am pleased about that. Its a start anyway.

Snakes and ladders is a great way to describe it. But slowly and surely we move forward and the totals go down rather than up.Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.

Let's hope we get more snakes than ladders along the way eh TOPM
As I have no CCs now my totals are coming down slowly. I think they will start to pick up around Christmas time as (hopefully) I would have built up some much needed funds behind me again and then I will start to up payments to one of the CCs and knock them off one by one. That's the plan in my head anyway and as long as nothing else gets in the way ( you know what it's like) I should be ok.
It's amazing how the sky hasn't fallen in around me without CCs. Just shows I was using them willy nilly. Lesson learned.

Just thought I might drop in on your diary Moti.
Remember lower bills as no heating. Less washing as we are wearing Summer clothes.
Higher spirits as we now have Summer.
A little fun as you have joined the madhouse thread at the Arms - and it's free.:D0 -

Hi miss tipsy
Thanks for popping in. Maybe you are mystic beacause I only thought this morning that I haven't needed to top up my gas for about 10 days and still have plenty on my meter. We are mostly leccy in this house, the only gas we use is for hot water and heating. We certainly haven't had the heating on the weather is lovely here but we have all showered and bathed ( honest)
The mad house is good fun and a little light relief.
Payday tomorrow :T. And DH picked my four legged best friends ashes up today. All vet bills paid and now I can focus on building up my funds again ( phew)
