I had a polyp removed last time too. My consultant's view was that getting to them early makes difference. Removal may be all that is needed. Hopefully, it will be nothing more than we need to keep an eye on these so let's bring you in more often.

Hopefully, you will speak to the Doctor soon and know what you are dealing with, which with any luck will put your mind at rest.
The waiting and speculating is horrible as it is easy to jump to the worst case scenario 🤗Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

They'd be unlikely to deliver serious news over the phone SL - that's a face to face conversation or at least "should be" if they're adhering to best-practise. Fingers crossed it will indeed be the pre-disposed, but nothing sinister scenario, but I'm not going to say "try not to think the worst" because of COURSE we always think the worst in these sorts of situations!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

You were of course, all right (so was I when my sub-conscious worrying-me brain was not doing its thing).
The surgery has not had the histology results - Doctor simply wanted to discuss the report that was written on the day and which I had a copy of (which told me I had four polyps, how big they were and that they had all been removed and sent for analysis) and that I had agreed to have another repeat procedure in three years time.
I reminded her she had rung me in October to ask that I agree to this second procedure because they can be an early indicator of development into cancer and I mentioned my Mother had had Stage 3 bowel cancer successfully treated five years ago and asked her if I had done the right thing. Absolutely the right thing. She said just make a note in your calendar and if you don't get recalled, tell us at the surgery and we will re-refer you.
All very reassuring and good. This is exactly why telephone consultations are the way to go for all but physical examination or intervention stuff. Unless patients can't hear. She's great. I really do appreciate the peace of mind call.

Very pleased to hear your mind has been set at rest. However loud a sensible voice is in your head the whispers of 'but it might be' are overwhelming. And now relax.6
