My Bengal cat drags the cat frenzy toy to my feet when she wants to play. She miaows several times and if I ignore her, I get the paw on my leg, poking me insistently. If I ignore the paw on the leg, I get the claw in the leg, which hurts a great deal. So I usually respond to the miaow or the paw on the leg.

My other cat's favourite pastime is spending time on the windowsill. She will sit there for hours and she likes watching storms and fireworks.

what is it with cats and toilets?

my visiting cat (hes not mine but visits, his owners are aware of this) loves to sit on laps, as soon as I sit down he is there, including when I sit on the loo :o Shutting the door does not help as he just meows outside it.

Luckily as he is only a visiting cat its not all the time.

One day last week our girl came in miaowing in a strange way. I took no notice, but a while later walked into the hall nearly treading on something. Closer inspection after I'd picked it up with a lump of kitchen towel, was a fat slice of mouldy cooked beef......... Couldn't quite work out how she was able to miaow so loudly when carrying it.

We had a sauna on Saturday thanks to our wee 8 month old kitten.

She gets kept in bathroom overnight and we woke to the hot tap running - it wasn't running at 7am but at 10am it was. The bathroom was full of steam and she had a light dew on her fur. So glad the plug wasn't plugged in.

Also I have noticed of late when I feed her she purrs at same time as eating - is this normal?

It all sounds fairly normal to me.

One of my old cats used to like laying in the sink in my bathroom, irrespective of whether the tap was on or not. She just had a cheeky look on her face as the water go higher and higher in the sink around her.

I have two kittens, brother/sister, and they like to go out to litter pick. They spend their whole time bringing me things like twigs, crisp packets, leaves & clumps of mud with moss stuff on

They both will awake from the deepest sleep to come to the loo with me, and my female loves to play fetch . . . the male does too but he's lazier so often just sits to watch
