Thank you for the list Valli and natty for last weeks.
Hugs good wishes and positive vibes for all
Sticks and spoons for who need them.
Kitchen got a good going over at the weekend anyway with the move round but il. Stick with the list as there is more I can/should do in there.

Dh has hung all the done washing out or put socks and undies on airer and radiator before he went to work and he dysoned the stairs and landing yesterday.
Need to do some mending and ironing this week and tidy the lounge as with DGS round yesterday he's left a trail of evidence that he was here

Will admit I did a fair chunk of stitching in the evenings but it keeps me sane.

  • Thanks Valli for the list. I'm in again. Will try and do a bit of the list this morning, but it's a long day at work for me today so Monday isn't usually a very good flying day!

I'm in - had a massive blitz at the weekend as things had got out of control again. Finally finished it this morning, so the plan is to try to at least keep on top of things from now on.

Office is still a disaster, and it and paperwork need a major blitz. Although I think I might just need to do it in small chunks inbetween bits of work to try to make an impact.

Marvellous Monday Kitchen Klean Up (and dining room)

    Level 1

Wipe table and chairs - don't forget the legs
    Clean/change cloths or wipe mats
    Clear sides and wipe down
Clean all filters - dishwasher, washer, tumble dryer
Wipe sticky switches and sockets with a just-damp cloth

    Level 2
Clean drawer and door fronts Utility only, none in kitchen yet
Dust any areas in dining room
    Sweep/mop/vacuum floors

    Level 3
    Polish all the windows
    Clear and clean sills
give a neglected cupboard some attention - empty, wipe out and put back tidily
    Dust BEHIND any mirrors/pictures...

    Extras
    Binbag dance
Make sure everything in the dining room has a proper home Need a new kitchen for that to happen
[STRIKE]S&S in the bathroom[/STRIKE] Have just deep cleaned the ensuite and the bathroom and cloakroom were done yesterday.
If you've got piles have 15 minutes working through one of them - and be ruthless! That'll be a good way to start on the office

    Morning all.

Hope your shoulder eases soon Iona.

This morning I have fed me and the dogs, washed the breakfast dishes and put away the washing that was drying on the airers. The dogs have had a walk too.

Workmen should have arrived at 8am, still no sign of them.

About to start the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Hello ladies

    Level One achieved :j

My day didn't start well, involved a broken down lorry blocking my driveway gates, cat poo on clean towels, mouldy banana skin hidden in lounge curtains and Small slipping over into a huge wet mud pile in his pristine school uniform and freshly laundered feather-filled coat

I have, however, apologised to the poor chaps from Burnley stranded in their lorry with a broken gearbox (made them tea too), opened gates and allowed rescue lorry to use my driveway to manoeuvre broken vehicle into the flatbed, and done one lot of laundry plus level one in the list.

Off to see what builders have done this morning....with tea and biscuits for them...

    She's beautiful, Mrs MP.

Sorry about the start to your days, Dizzy. It sounds exhausting.

Second load of laundry in. Kitchen floor hoovered and steamed (must wash steamer pads at some point, but might give it a couple more goes while WM is busy). Letter dropped off with neighbour. All waste paper baskets and bathroom bins emptied. A couple of pieces of paper filed. Wellies and walking boots retrieved from car boot. Logs brought into sitting room.

Must do some more work now...
