Morning everyone

Got up early to do some paid stuff and sort out my finances. Not got myself going yet, I think I need more coffee. DH is hopefully going to finish tiling the utility room floor today. The mess is getting to me and contributed to me feeling grumpy and out of sorts yesterday. Mind you this weather really isnt helping.

DS1 was bored yesterday and was moping about so I said "oh for goodness sake if you are that bored you can go and wash my car". Not only did he wash it but he cleaned it inside too, even taking all the gibble out of every storage compartment.

No football today so that gives me the whole day to get stuff done. Going to do a roast dinner for tea, will try and run the hoover around later.

YSL, well done to your DS1. He can come round here and clean the car if he likes.

Had a lovely meal out last night and we were sat a table right next to a radiator so we warmed up nicely.

This morning I have washed the breakfast dishes and have started on the washing pile. Just waiting for the heating man to come before I can walk the dogs.

Not until mine's been washed. It was washed a week ago, but my journey to work takes it over some fithly roads.
DD is 21 today.
First family birthday without sis, bil sent a card, we both sobbed.

Going to have a steady day today.

Oh other bil and I are on a weight loss challenge, we've to see who lose 10% body weight first, as per slimming world.

I'm going to call on team Flylady to cheerlead!

Morning everyone. No f word, but my Flying this week has consisted of keeping DW/WM running and keeping kitchen and bathroom s&S'd. The place doesn't look great but I don't think I'll kill anyone with dirt before Wednesday. Guess what my first full day off in 2 weeks will be:D

However, I have been very careful to keep 'me time' or I would have lost my job last week due to response to clients unrealistic expectations. This year we are GOING to be implementing a new system. I'm not doing this again if there are easy steps to avoid the situation. THankfully the boss is in agreement.

So I've only been skimming the thread. Narc0lepsy well done on the moving. Glad she's settling in.

Valli good luck with the weight loss. You could join us on the weight loss board. We're a friendly bunch:rotfl:

Jazzee glad dinner was warm. I hope the food was good as well. DH and I are going out a week on Thursday. Combination of early Valentines, and celebrate end of tax season for me and finishing his exam for him.

Ionafan Ouch for the shoulder. Hope it improves. Glad DH is improving.

Sorry if I've missed anyone. Just finished my tea break. Back to work.

Off to dance school for the costume day. It will be busy and the kids will be very excited. Lots of tutus this year I still looking for sleeping beauty's cradle, I may have to make one.

Can I join the queue for your DS1's car cleaning please YL! I'm looking at my car now and it is flithy, apart from the number plate and lights. Too many narrow muddy country roads to work. However it is going in for its service and MOT tomorrow so hopefully it will get a lovely spring clean then. Vibes please that it doesn't cost me as much as last year's service :eek:. I'm not sure that there is anymore that can go wrong, but you can bet there will be.

I have been playing fridge tetris this morning, so we now have celeriac soup for lunch next week, and some veggies cooked for a quiche for dinner tomorrow. Apart from that, all flying successfully avoided so far today

Had a lovely afternoon with DGS3+4 yesterday. DH enjoyed visiting his pals at the railway en route, and I managed to dissuade him from exceeding the agreed 30 min maximum - he said today that it had worn him out.

Today we have been out for lunch to celebrate DH's upcoming birthday. Delicious! I am out again for another meal tomorrow evening with some of my fellow students, so I am not anticipating decluttering anything on the SW scales on Tuesday :eek:

On the way home this afternoon I called in to see a good friend who is never ill but has discovered that what she thought was an impressive insect bite just above her right eye is in fact shingles

One of our robins is trying to copy the great tits and grab chunks off the fat block, so I'd better go and put out some more mealworms and suet pellets for him and conserve his energy in this miserable weather.

How I wish I lived close to you, I would love to make a sleeping beauty's cradle. I love making props and scenery, it's my thing. X

Oh Valli, how sad. I remember my MIL talking about the "year of firsts" and how it wasnt always the big anniversaries that hit her. Hugs.

Been out in the car once and it is filthy again already, poor DS. Sorry but I dont think he will be offering his services to anyone else! The roads around here are really bad at the moment.

Bathroom cleaned, our bedding changed and out on the line for a bit, roast lamb for tea, did some braised red cabbage to go with it. Finance spreadsheets updated. Busy week ahead.
