Another £5 off the mortgage over payments....just shows that a bit of motivation can help. This is £10 so far this week, and the first time I've managed that for a long while. Was all helped by some Co-op vouchers that I had to spend, so I rounded up the money I would have spent to £5 and bunged it off the mortgage.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Just to put this into perspective a little - I just paid off £4.41 from my Very account. I had calculated my snowball yesterday after making a few payments, and calculated again today after paying £4.41. The difference in paying that small amount... £7!! i have saved £7 in interest for paying just £4.41 off. Unreal.
