We've established there isn't a cash flow problem. Just an eagerness to own again where they're moving to. There's no need to sell below it's market value. Do keep up."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

I never claimed I did. I just questioned the need to sell it rapidly."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

Nope, can`t see that expressed in the post, just an eagerness to sell....:rotfl: It is interesting that when any post/thread about dropping the price crops up, the same old posters just happen to be there, like magic, trying to shut down that line of thought....

but ideally I want to get my house sold asap as a matter of urgency
No cash flow, just keen to have a home again. We've not felt at home here for a while now, and the thought of not having a home at all (at least not one we can practically live in) is scary.
I'm not quite sure if you're actually gormless, or are just being obtuse because everything is viewed through your HPC tinted spectacles."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

Dropping the price would sell it quicker. My point is would it be worth it? They might find a buyer in two days instead of three weeks. Given conveyancing will take three months, achieving £10K less than you might otherwise have done to me seems a rash and expensive decision.
I'd speak to my estate agent who has knowledge of the local market and asked them how long they expect it might take to find another if the property is advertised as the same price as before.
This takes at face value OPs assertion that the errors in the survey are incorrect. And perhaps assumes there were no problems with the valuation.
In short Crashy, it's called weighing up your options and considering them carefully rather than acting on impulse."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

Nah, most sellers know that the market has turned IMO.0
