Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in the phone. When it says phone restricted, presst]
'undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code and input the code into the box on the screen.

firstly forgive me if i am askign a stupid question, but i have gone through this forum and had a dekko at the suggested unlock websites, but am rather confused at what to put in the GEN field? i have a nokia 1101 tied to virginmobile. when i open back it says it's

imei 35795700/976659/3
when i typed this in the first two websites suggested they both presented very different codes so i suspect i logged in wrong. thanks to anyone who can help.
