Phone unlocked for all networks.
It just now won't connect with the Vodaphone card.
I mean.. when you go onto "network selection" etc.

I have an old phone I want to give to a friend.
It is a:

Nokia 3100
IMEI: 355043006487079
It's on T-Mobile at present no idea what my friend will be using. Do I need to have my sim card inserted to unlock it?

Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in your phone. When it says phone restricted, press ‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code, and input the code into the box on the screen.
