Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in your phone. When it says phone restricted, press ‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code, and input the code into the box on the screen.

not allowed means all the code tries were used , can still be done by cable (been a LONG time since I did one of those )
