There are no remote codes for the 1208 as it's a Dct4+ phone. You will have to contact your network provider, or a pro unlocker.

I have read the forum it says that the phone must be unlocked by a 'pro unlocker' or from a code from 3. Is this correct or is it possible to use the cable method outlined at the start of the thread.

When reading the forums I had the impression that it was the 'n' models that could be unlocked not models like the e71?
