IMEI 35758300/259036/6
Locked to Virgin

I have been looking for ages and tried a couple of codes but got a 'code error'. Any help would be very much appreciated.

You say the SIM does not need to be in the phone, but from the FAQ section of the site in answer to the question 'My phone didn't do anything', it says the following:

'We find this happens when users have taken out their SIM card and entered the code at the screen that says "Insert Sim Card". Your phone may not respond because it does not know what it is unlocking.
Try: Boot Your Phone with the SIM card in. In your Home Screen enter the code. If you still get no response; Insert an Unsupported SIM card and boot up your phone. Where is say "Unsupported SIM" press the Right Softkey and enter the Code there.

Sometimes you may have to insert a non accepted sim in the 6020, some of the free unlock sites generate incorrect codes as the settings have to be altered which you can do if you have the software, but if you tell me the phones IMEI number then I will tell you which code you should try.

I have a Nokia 6120 on 3 Network and according to what I have read in previous posts (please correct if I am wrong) it can only be unlocked in shop or market. Does anybody live in or around Wakefield area that has got a phone unlocked for a cheap (or reasonable) price please.

can anyone please advise, just got a N95 as an upgrade, I've asked Orange for the unlock code (for a fee) and the reply was that they will only unlock after 3 months. Can the say that? can they refuse to unlock? My last upgrade was unlocked straight away for £20. I want it unlocked so i can put different Sim when i go abroad!!
Also, can somebody confirm if i can go elsewhere to unlock said phone?:beer:

The Nokia 6020 phone's IMEI number is 356240000029324. It is currently locked to Vodafone.

When I type in the code you're going to provide should I put the new SIM in or leave it out? Just to confirm.
