Please can anyone help me brought a mob from my nephew its the 6300 but it needs unlocking from orange as i am on o2 iv looked for unlocking codes and it said it could not be done !! but this was a long time ago i just wondered if this was still the case. i was told if i take it to the shop in town they would charge me £20 to do it, and someone also said i could only get it through orange would i have to pay them to do it ??

Hi pip, yeah they still cant be unlocked by free code, so will cost around £20 from market stall or Direct through orange who will also charge around £200 -

Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in your phone. When it says phone restricted, press ‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code, and input the code into the box on the screen.

I need to unlock my Nokia 6151 which is locked to Vodafone Australia.
Mobile - Nokia 6151

Locked to - Vodafone Australia
Apologies if I was not meant to have put this in one of the sticky threads, but I didnt see anything for Australian networks.
