Turbo sims work well in most phones. Purchase one from a shop and ask them to fit it if you can, to see it working.

Sorry, I just thought of another thing. You know when I was given these codes that were supposed to work, I typed them in without a simcard in the phone. When I put a foreign simcard into the phone, it says enter restriction code? Do you think it would make a difference? I mean, for example, if I asked Orange for the unrestriction code and entered it in when there was the foreign card, is there a possibility that it might work? Or does it not make a difference?

There are no remote codes for your phone.

No they can't, only your network provider, or contact a pro unlocker.
