i've managed to unlock an old orange phone so that i can use my vodaphone sim as a temp measure (charger broke and no charge on vodaphone phone )

but i can't get into any of my picture messages / text messages that are on the vodaphone sim........ any ideas of how to get to them? as only getting old messages that were on the orange handset before unlocking?
