Hi all,

I have a Nokia 6230i locked to Vodafone which I am trying to unlock.

I have an old Orange sim card from an expired contract to use for unlocking purposes, but the codes I have found here do not seem to work - currently I have tried three codes and my phone is currently displaying "Enter Restriction Code"

I don't want to try any more codes and find myself having to pay someone to do the unlock - so has anybody got the correct code please?

My IMEI number is: 0525407356644009890786

All help will be gratefully received as my current phone isn't working as it should be, and I can't afford another!

Most of these 6230's now, only give you 3 attempts, but you can try this.

Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in your phone. When it says phone restricted, press ‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code, and input the code into the box on the screen.

Thanks for the info baldhead! Unfortunately it doesn't work though......

It's now saying "Phone restricted" but if I switch the phone off it will let me enter another code.

Anyone else got some codes for me?

What do it say when you entred the code.

Sorry, “Cannot undo restriction” or “Not allowed” means your phone is now hardlocked, as you have used more than 5 codes and 3 on some models now, so the only solution now, is by taking it to a professional unlocker for direct unlocking. You are able to still use it on it’s original network.
