Just wanted to encourage anyone trying to unlock a 2310. Bought it from Tesco and it was locked to Virgin, read lots of stories about people encountering difficulties in unlocking them. I tried myself with one code, then got a shop to try one code, and ended up taking it to another shop who were able to do it but they had to plug it in to their computer. £10 later and it is unlocked. I'm happy with this as when I contacted Virgin about it they said that they would do it for free if I topped up with £30 credit - mmm no thanks!
