it may not work as you might have one of the newer 1600's that can only be unlocked directly by a local shop/market stall

no free codes as its a bb5 nokia.

you could see if a local shop/market stall with a nokia bb5 unlock box could do it for you, but im not sure if its a supported model yet

removed tmobile sim and turned it on without sim. Entered code and got the message "code error" before the phone returned to the home screen. Any suggestions? Am I right in thinking that I get 3 chances at this?

afaik only the 6230i has to have the sim in when you unlock it.

Hi! I have a Nokia 6234 and am not sure from the 1st post whether it can be unlocked or not. Not listed as a model that can be unlocked on Tryktil. Any advice gratefully accepted. Currently locked to Vodafone, serial no 354544011863296.
