I’m hoping to persuade my parents to finally ditch their ancient 3210s.

Also, if they won’t unlock, will they work with Virgin sims?

I've tried running some IMEI numbers from previous postings in this forum through online calculators but don't get the same answers as the Guru posters on this board, so don't have the confidence of getting it right myself!

they should work on virgin without being unlocked. my sony ericssons do let me use virgin sims as tmobile provides the network for virgin

you need to take it to a local shop/market stall for a direct unlock because you tried too many codes
