:-( sadly neither, I cant start the phone with out a sim card If i do it actualy starts up, so I have inserted a card that doesnt work and it comes up "Phone restricted " and an option to "Undo" am I doing the right process ?

I have 8 mobile phones all locked into Tesco, I was to unlock them, I called a shop that unlocks mobiles only to be told that these are unlockable, even by a market staller or shop.

Is this true??
Has anyone else had theirs done via market stall or shop???

the only ones they cannot do are some of the BB5 Nokia's in the first posts of the thread

although SOME people can now unlokcthese but the equipment is very expensive

When trying to enter the code generated to unlock the phone, if it does not work/entered incorrectly, does it cause any harm to the phone?
