So many traits that I'd find unacceptable, I don't know where to begin! Maybe I set my standards so high is the reason I don't have a partner. Having said that, I wouldn't compromise on so many things and refuse to lower my standards just to have 'someone'!
It doesn't take much to put me off someone tbh - bad table manners for instance!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

Having bigoted views. I could not be with someone who is racist/homophobic etc.
Someone who thinks couples should be constantly together. I need my own space and my own interests and feel suffocated with people like that. It kills any love I have for them.0 -
I am surprised at the phone thing…the other things not so much so.
It was a bit tongue in cheek re another thread
But it does show a lack of trust that I wouldn't like. I wouldn't dream of doing it to someone else. My partner often leaves her phone when she goes to the bar, loo etc but I've never even thought of looking at it0 -
I had a partner who turned into a business partner but when you get to be with or know someone over a period of time ............ aggressiveness, never wrong or total inability to say sorry, bad table manners, no sense of humour .......0

His alcoholism and being a little bit too fond of using his fists on me when he had had a few. I guess I had a narrow escape as I discovered that he was actually given a suspended prison sentence eight years ago for beating up his girlfriend so badly she was hospitalised. He wouldn't have dared try that on me- he was too frightened of my dad and my brother but it didn't stop him trying to have a go.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Money!
I spent many years in lots of short relationships (I get bored / boring easily!) and one thing that was a quick turn off is a woman not paying her way. I would never ask a woman to contribute but I notice when they don't.
I always was happy to be expected to pay for the first date but can't see why I should continue to do so forever more so if after date number 3 or 4, if she continues to look around awkwardly when the bill comes and I have already smashed her, she'll get let go.:cool: lurker:cool::cool:0 -

If you can't trust your partner, there is no relationship.
Checking his/her phone, checking browsing history, looking through her handbag or his pockets are all really nasty traits that would finish a relationship for me.
I couldn't have a relationship with a smoker. My partner gave up over 30 years ago.0 -
Drug use, more time spent with the lads than with me. Don't think I could live with another smoker. I've had 50+ years of passive smoking. Someone who spends his life in the pub.
