Today I've had about 12 grapes (the same ones I bought in 4sda the other day) .... and a portion of honey/nut cornflakes for brekky - just one portion of those left now and I'll need a new box.

Starving....but haven't decided at all what I could eat. That's the root of the problem - indecision leads to starvation, which leads to desperate grabbing of "whatever" :)

    Dunno what I fancy ....
I like to go and taste things I wouldn't normally get the opportunity to, although you tend to only get a very small piece of everything. I think it is unlikely that I will purchase anything though, most things there are usually expensive.

That's why I didn't bother to go to one that's big and held here.... it's a lot of stalls selling expensive food - and the few that do hand out samples, they tend to be tiny.

    Good afternoon everyone,
Thanks for all the good wishes re my toe:A
I've had a very lazy morning after a fairly uncomfortable night with my toe aching. That said although it is swollen and bruised I'm fairly sure it's not broken as I can wiggle it :D . I'm not CFO tonight as my younger son is making a curry banquet for a crowd of us and I get to sit back and drink wine;) . I'm now the delighted owner of a dehydrator - I've wanted one for ages so looking forward to using it :D

Buckwheat pancakes - yes please I've not had these since the flour I brought back from a holiday in Brittainy was used up. It's so expensive here but I think I paid just over a Euro for a biggish bag.

Happy birthday, glad you got your dehydrator.

Yep, that sums up just what this one was like, but it passed the time and we did get to try some different cheeses and sausages. Everything for sale was at over inflated prices, and the prices at the 'cafe' bit, well  I could have fed myself for a week for what they were charging for a cup of tea and a piece of cake, so we came back here for that :)

    Ah glad you are okay.
Dehydrator, awesome. I've been wanting one too. Very jealous of the Excalibur a certain person has on here, but I would love any just about now.
I'm sure you are going to put it to good use.

_party_ Happy Birthday Caron and I'm glad your non too subtle hints were picked up for the dehydrator. What's going to be first to be done?

I can have anything I wish ... anything. I don't have expensive tastes, so there'd never be a £10k fish sandwich, or a top table at some poncey restaurant.

I can have anything.... I have money in the bank and a working car outside. I live in an area with supermarkets, garage forecourts, takeaways, home delivery food, pubs that sell "good food" and the likes of Toby carveries. Anything ... the world is my food oyster....

Chips, chinese, indian, pizza, kebab .... I can choose anything I want. Any readymeal too...anything.

Trouble is - I have absolutely NO idea what I fancy.

For lunch I removed the frozen half loaf from the freezer and opened a tin of spaghetti hoops .... I ate toast/hoops/cheese.

As I've got the bread sitting there - and half a can of hoops - I might as well have that again tonight :)

I can never decide.... never..... never know what I want.

EDIT: Had that, eaten it :) Choc ice in a bit I think!

Buckwheat pancakes were made. Seven full portions and a snack in the end! Ate one portion, two in the fridge and found room for four portions in the freezer. The snack portion I'll take to work tomorrow.
