Am I the only one here who always has cream crackers available?
Unfortunately, I often have days when a plain cream cracker is all I can keep down.
And talking of pizza, I made one yesterday - with tomato puree, extra extra mature Cheddar cheese, onion, Qu0rn bacon-style slices, sliced tomatoes, fresh basil..... and.... PINEAPPLE. :rotfl:
No to PINEAPPLE on Pizza...just no!!!

Totally agree re Cream Crackers and keeping them down, they are just right when feeling nauseous...I used to eat them naked (as were) in the days when I had terrible hangovers after a Saturday night out.
My other saviour was tinned whole peeled plum tomatoes on plain, well cooked toast and a liberal dash of Lea and Perrins'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought

2nd half of the pizza scoffed
I managed to remove from the freezer today the food I hope to get round to cooking tomorrow. It'll be a sausagemeat pie of some sort as I've dug out a roll of pastry and 1/4 of the sausagemeat I bought a month ago. I've onions I could put with that, no apples ... and only tinned tomatoes, so I need to think about that and maybe buy 1 apple later, or a punnet of tomatoes. I might check the Lidl/Aldi sites to see if either are on offer... probably not. Maybe I should've checked that first before I randomly removed items from the freezer. Oh well....0 -
Must must must try out a few recipes for making my own crackers - as the type I buy (occasionally) are more than a little expensive....which is rather daft for something so fundamentally cheap.
Lunch - well my excuse was I did a fair bit of walking this morning - and it was a CBA one. Some artisan fruit bread/chunk of cheese/glass of mylk (ie some other type of milk than cows milk - in this case it was rice milk).0 -
No cooking for me LOL no eating for me, have got a nasty batch of mouth ulcers which are extremely painful and cant put my dentures in. Can just about bear to let chocolate melt slowly. So Hey Ho, chocolate for breakfast dinner and tea indefinitely til these things clear up, never had them before and wont be rushing to have them again.Slimming World at target0

PN that Pizza sounds fantastic...was it shop bought or HM creation?
...if shop bought, where from?
Bit of both. I grabbed the pizza in Lidl, 99p, in the week. Frozen, yellow box, called El Tequito Chilli Con Carne Pizza. That had tomato sauce base, beef, edam/grated, kidney beans, red onion, sweetcorn. https://tipsyandcarbs.files.wordpress.com/2016/08/tumblr_oamtbmlayi1v41r2do2_250.jpg
I added more red onions, the whole chilli, the mexican cheese (just 10 grams).
This was the cheese: http://www.ilchester.co.uk/gfx/cheese/Mexicana.jpg - I just checkedthe one I got and it says "Original Hot".... so not overly hot (imho).
Red onions I'd bought/sliced/frozen before Xmas.
Whole chillies I'd bought packs of 4-5 and frozen those late last summer.... I just buy the whole chillies in the packs at about 40-50p and lob them in the freezer as they are; still frozen, with a small paring knife, they slice through on demand, or can be grated.0 -
I don't have crackers in - the packet I bought specially "because it's Xmas" was probably the 3rd packet I've ever bought - and the only one in the last 10-15 years.
I enjoy a good cracker, what I got was a mixed packet of Jacobs crackers ...and I was disappointed, both in terms of product stability (they broke) and taste (nothing).
Probably this pack is what I got: http://www.thegrocer.co.uk/pictures/620x460fitpad[102]/3/8/0/59380_FINAL-170g_3D.jpg0 -

Afternoon everyone
PN - your pizza sounds fab.Do you have any stuffing mix? I like it mixed with sausagemeat in a pie or sausage roll:)
Karcher - tinned toms on toast with L&P lovely grub
meg72 poor you with ulcers how horrible:mad:, you should ask LW to lob you some of the pineapple she's wasting on a pizza:p
Willowx - home made bread with lashings of butter I hope? After all you must of burned loads of calories on your outing this morning;)
Nelski - "cleaning day" sausage & mash well deserved after that I'd say:)
moneyistooshorttomention I've made crackers once - let's just say now firmly in my life's too short box......
Food choices feel better today after a "beige" couple of daysTasty cheese and pickle sandwich, rather a lot of beetroot and a banana for lunch. I've looked out a pack of pork belly strips from the freezer - been there yonks so frozen pre-cooking for one days so there will be LOs and the last bag of roasted cherry toms from last summer's harvest so they'll be the basis of dinner tonight either with the remaining frozen spicy chickpea patty from a bbq last year or sweet potato wages I'll see what I fancy later:)
