Ah, it's reached the stage where everybody's making up the numbers :)

Veg in a pie won't be much .... but that jam in a doughnut's definitely got to be worth something!

The biscuit ... you get extra points for getting through those; while a nice idea they ARE a bit chewy!

PN, the veg are in addition to the pie, prep'd with my own wrinkly & bent fingers and steamed on the stove top, sans me sweating over it though

Seeing as it's become the hot topic, I mean the 0/10 thing, I have to say I despair of the constant changing of the goalposts.

For many a variety of 10 different veg type things per day is unachievable, money dependent but also very dull...

I've always eaten a pretty healthy diet, don't stuff my face daily with take aways, hamburgers, chips, pies and chocolate. being a non meat eater for 30 years means most of my proper cooked meals were/are veg/pulse based and I've always eaten fruit when it's affordable.

But I also eat what I fancy..so If I want a whole pizza which has only 1/10 in it's tomato sauce then so be it. If I want, I will add mushrooms, peppers, chilli etc but if I don't fancy that, I won't..so 1/10 will be it for the day.

The next day I may make a veg chilli/curry from scratch which could well contain 6 or 7/10...

Life's too bloody short to deny yourself what you fancy to eat (within moderation that is) and force yourself to eat a plate of 10 different fruit/veg day in day out. I like both fruit and veg and I like pulses, but in moderation too....

should have been eating out with my folks which no doubt would have had a least 2 of my 10 a year but got stuck in an traffic jam for over an hour so spun around and came home.

Thinking really simple tonight as I need some carbs to absorb the prosecco I will drinking at a neighbours later:rotfl: wondering if prosecco counts now but Im thinking PN will say no

So could well be my favourite curry sauce and chips but sadly Karcher not from the chippy as I cant be ollied to go out again:D

Tomorrow is another day an may well be healthier (I did say may)

What a shame you missed your lunch:( Pop some rasberries in your prosecco and depending on how many glasses you have you could be well on your way to 10/10 LOL;)

    Cream cracker with butter...0/10 :D

More cream crackers, this time with butter AND cheese :D

Further to my earlier post re 0/10, I went to the shop last night specifically to buy cream crackers as I had a craving for them.

Whilst at the shop I saw some really healthy leeks so bought one. By the time I was home, and after a few crackers and butter, I decided I really fancied some steamed veg: LEEK, (frozen) broccoli, green beans and mushrooms covered in butter and a dollop of chilli sauce on the side ...Go me eh..

Trouble is I can't get rid of the smell of the leeks..24 hours later the whole flat still reeks despite having all the windows wide open for hours :(

There's a price to pay for healthiness..not a whiff of cream crackers, just leeks :p

Apologies for the inane waffle :o:D

I know the feeling my house really stank of onions after I made mince the other day - despite airing and scented candles I'm still getting the odd whiff :(

I had those on my Xmas List. After Xmas I had them on the "never buy again" list. I got my crackers out, my marg, my cheese .... and the second I bit into the cracker it was all over the plate in pieces.

Happened with every one, so I decided to never bother again.

Yeah, I bought my first leeks last year; then I froze them as I still hadn't got round to them. I eventually shoved them with a bunch of other veg into the slow cooker and thought ... "don't buy those again". It did STINK for DAYS!
