...and I'm hoping I might be able to pick up a few early food plants today.
So - lunch and dinner in a few months time will, hopefully, major on foods I've not even heard of yet.....

Morning everyone, not sure what my food plans are yet hopefully something a bit more inspiring than yesterday.0 -
Morning lovelies
Cleaning weekend for me which demands a nice dinner so I have opted for sausages mash and beans4 sausages in the pack so that will probably be food for tomorrow too maybe with a nice onion gravy and a yorkie.
bought some cheap bread from lidl yesterday and its truly horrible so that is finding its way to the bin (first thing I have thrown away for a long time but god its awful stuff....stale tasteless and dry) I should know cheap is sometimes more expensive in the long run.
Actually thinking about it I might chuck it in the food processor instead and make some bread crumbs but then again maybe I cant be ollied
Enjoy your weekend oneskis0 -
Morning all, been to the butcher's, green grocers and library this morning so going to be sitting down for a while. Need to put some bread on soonish as I've promised myself a bacon butty for dinner. Think I'll be a rebel and just make straight white. Got a double lamb chop for tomorrow. Not sure what I'm going to do for lunch, I'm fancying a banana might also have cheese and crackers might just have a banana.0

I know it's early - but when you get the urge you have to cook .... else you could be starving before you can be bothered again.
Pizza. Nom.
Spicy and topped with: tomato base, chilli beef, sweetcorn, cheese, kidney beans, red onions, a whole red chilli and some of the mexican cheese.
It was nice enough - but maybe I should've splashed some tabasco across it too, I do like super hot things occasionally.
That's cleared the freezer out of ...not very much at all!
Although it might count as a lot/10 it's tiny bits really. But, 5 things that count, just not in large quantities.
Still got half left, so I'll have that later.0 -

oh no PN I doubt it it was awful...maybe it was a bad batch but calling it bread was breaking trade descriptions. I do love the bread from the lidl bakery thoughonly problem is it goes off after a day which is not much use for me. Back to Asda for bread for me
That pizza sounds delicious0 -
PN that Pizza sounds fantastic...was it shop bought or HM creation?
...if shop bought, where from?'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought
And I ain't got the power anymore'0 -
Am I the only one here who always has cream crackers available?
Unfortunately, I often have days when a plain cream cracker is all I can keep down.
And talking of pizza, I made one yesterday - with tomato puree, extra extra mature Cheddar cheese, onion, Qu0rn bacon-style slices, sliced tomatoes, fresh basil..... and.... PINEAPPLE. :rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
