) as a present for a relative - and I don't think they come with an SD card (correct me if I'm wrong) so she's going to need an SD card to go with. Does she need to be looking for anything specific in SD cards or will just a generic one do? Any advice would be appreciated
Redfox.... Generic ones are fine. You can get fast ones but they would only be required if you were wanting to take pictures one after another in very rapid succession. This earlier post maybe more memory than you need - but it's what I will be buying if I get my camera (ordered the Minolta Z10 too!)

EDIT : For direct link http://www.mymemory.co.uk/ and put "Kingston 512MB Secure Digital Card" in the search box or choose it from the special offers section - 512Mb card for £17.99 + £3.95 postage
PS. I used a code from the MSE vouchers section to get 10% off too. Cracking camera for £900 -

I would have thought the Kingston 512MB one for £17.99 + delivery from MyMemory would be a good choice as posted last week.

Out of stock again.0

The Coolpix 5200 comes with 12 megabytes of built-in memory so no actual memory card included. At 5 megapixel you're only going to be able to take around 4-5 photos with the built-in memory.
If you buy a faster card the camera will be ready to take the next photo quicker.Ye'!, And!!?. How am I supposed to know?0 -
Wow they went quick!!!:heartpuls Number 1 Aunty Gok fan :heartpuls0

DOH!!
That's 3 times I've missed these now
I got to the payment stage and it said now out of stock again!
They didn't e-maile me once to say it was back in stock after I registered to receive an email when they were back in stock!?
Oh well, I'll keep an eye on it - wanted one for the wife for when we go on holiday next week.0 -
