damn, i bought mine for £32 three weeks ago0

Definitely cheap. Paid £8.99 inc postage from a 100% seller on Ebay last week for a 128Mb SD card - supposedly brand new - but it had been used so will only buy from official dealers from now on. Think I'll be plumping for this one! Thanks0

Great price. Anyone know how fast this card is? The one I bought a short while ago was described as fast , i.e. 66x.
Is this comparable?0 -
saw many on ebay going around 23-24 quids (inc post from Hong Kong) but it's a Toshiba brand 2MB/s transfer rate
Do you guys think this Kingston is a better deal?0 -
Amazon have Viking brand everso slightly cheaper !

I am pretty sure that both Kingston and Viking are made by Toshiba. Certainly the Viking card I have is and am sure my mates Kingston is too. I also thought that Viking had a 5 year guarantee whereas Kingston has a lifetime one - feel free to correct me on that but haven't time to check it out right now.
EDIT : Been having a look around and it doesn't appear to be a fast card (just normal).
"Speed** - Up to 5MB/sec. read rate
Up to 1.5MB/sec. write rate
** Speed may vary due to host and device configuration "
From Amazon - "Fast - data transfer rate up to 2 Mbps (average)"
You can get cards that go up to 10MB/sec read and write....(which is the 66X card you have bought IMSI - so this card is not comparable).0 -
It is NOT a high speed card.0
