Thank you for starting the new GC month, zippychick.
Been thinking about the challenge and realising that I have to feed DH more protein and more than I eat anyway, so I am going to have a larger budget than last few months. Will start on 1st February and end on 28th. Please put me down for £250.Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Can you put me down for £200 this month please. Will run from 31st Jan till 27th Feb 2 adults and 2 very hungry swimmers to feed.
Note to self get organised and don't just grab dinner on the way home from work!! I've let things get a little out of control recently, think all my family members were taking turns at ending up in hospital (I'm exhausted and the budget for Jan was blown!)JAN - £208.56/£250 NSD-8
FEB - £121.51/£200 NSD- 1

Hello Grocery Challengers! I've never done this before but really need to spend less money generally so this looks a good place to start.
As I'm new I have no real idea what my budget should be, so I'll go for a figure of £400 for all groceries, pet stuff, household stuff etc and see how I go with that. It should be far more than I need for one person and a cat (even if the cat has a weak stomach and can only eat a particular type of cat food), but I figure I've got to start somewhere!Back after a very long break!0 -
I'm still on January's challenge but can you put me down for £360 for February pleaseGrocery Challenge - Sept £205.56/£350.000

I'd like to join, please. Could you put me down for £50 for February, thank you.0

Count us in again. Currently thinking £176 for February (based on £44 per week). Waiting to see how January turns out though as we've been under by a lot, then over a smidge, then cut the budget, but not finished the month yet so I am unsure how we will do. I sound so committed!:rotfl:0

I finish January's on the 26th and would like to move straight onto this then.
Please keep my target at £250
Thank you to the board managers for putting these challenges up. I really appreciate them and have learnt a lot about my shopping habits trying to reach my targets.0
