You can upgrade to any of our phones and bundles on 27 Oct 2018

I suspect there has been a royal mess up previously. And the Upgrade date of October 2018 may reflect todays upgrade? I dunno?

I'm confused as I thought in your OP you said you took out the new contract in August 2016 - so how can the end date be August 2016?

Regardless, just keep an eye out and make sure everything is A-Ok once you have received your first bill on the new contract.

I took out the iPhone 6S Plus contract in August 2016, but I am guessing someone may not have put it through? This was the end date for the contract on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4

As I was told this has benefitted me.

I know this may come across as confusing, but I was outright promised my bills would note reflect 2 tariffs or what not. iPhone 6S Plus + S7 Edge. As there'd only be 1 live number.

Nothing comes across as confusing with Vodafone haha! I think they just make it up as they go along.
  • It would be nice if they knew what they were doing.
  • What a PITA, they were going to charge me for the upfront Handset and delivery! Totalling £64.94 when it was promised as £0.00

I have now had a long chat with them via live chat, and had the fees waived in favour of bill credit!

I have the transcripts, and always force a message to my Phone from them everytime they screw up!

That's probably just for starters. Good luck with the bill credit. I suspect they've simply set up a second new contract, so now you're tied into two for 18 months (the original) and 24 months (the new one).
  • I've always achieved bill credit in the past because I don't leave them alone until it's done.

They did say there was one contract only,

I understand what they say and do are two different matters.

But surely they must just honour this. As they have done in the past, when I show them the transcripts.

Eventually, maybe... the fact you had to show them the transcripts previously means they can't be trusted.

I know yes, so many promises that never get acted upon. One person does not know what the next is doing.

I've no real experience of Mobile Providers other than Vodafone, but are the rest just as guilty?
