Hi, As the thread starter (owner I guess) - I can only say that I fully agree with MrBentOvertheBarrel about trolls on this thread. This is why I gave up with it.

I will make my own mind up about the morals and don't really need to be appraised of my shortcomings in that regard by trolls.

    :-)

I do... My vehicle during trade in just before this new broke was £8500

I looked at another vehicle from the same dealer 3 months ago (1 year after the above) and now they offered me £5600.

Car's affect HAVE had impact on the value of the vehicle
Do you know what your car would've been worth without the "scandal"?

Just because other posters don't agree with you point of view doesn't make them trolls!

*** I AM AN OWNER OF AN AFFECTED VEHICLE ***

Maybe to make things clear for everyone owners of affected cars should start each reply with "*** I AM AN OWNER OF AN AFFECTED VEHICLE ***". That way the owners (who I created this thread for to be clear) can identify the posts from other owners.

Or maybe you should just post on dedicated VW group forums if you don't want to listen to any other views that may be in contrast to your own. This is a public, general motoring forum and all opinions should be welcome, if you don't like that then feel free to post elsewhere.

The OP posted on this forum because of the forum's coverage. The OP has made it clear he doesn't want posts questioning his morals. I second his views (I am also an affected and aggrieved VW owner). We respect the right's of those non-VW owners who feel we have no right to feel aggrieved but such posts really add nothing to the debate.

A one sided debate, yes that's what forums are for.

Not wanting to read the whole thread again but could you show me where the OP's "morals" have been questioned?

He's had differing opinions, nothing more, and quite in line with what you'd expect on an open forum debate.

And now with the OP throwing the word troll out there doesn't exactly help his case either.

The OP asked whether it was value for money to sign up with a NWNF lawyer now. The two sides of the argument that he (and others like me and @MrBentOvertheBarrel) would like to see debated are:
    a) Sign up with NWNF lawyer now
    b) Don't sign up with NWNF lawyer now

The third option of accepting our position is not one that we would like to debate in this thread thank you.
