littlewoods: only use codes that are sent to you!

When you order you can pay by card or pay by installments on an account .... can I ask whether the people who have been askes to pay the £25 have the account? Surely if you have just paid by card then they can't take the money out of your account? I've ordered bits using the current Littlewoods code and it should be delivered on tuesday, but I may keep it in the packaging for a while just in case

The £25 voucher was removed from my (Littlewoods) account. I DID pay by card (Morganstanleycard).

just checked my online statement and I nowowe £50 for 2 vouchers which have been refused/cancelled one was on my account and one by debit card
My orders date back to July. The charges are dated 19/09/07 and showing as arrears???

Any idea what I should do?

I am refusing to pay as I think what they are doing is illegal (revising a completed and accepted contract 2 months after the fact). I have told them they can take me to court but Lloyd from the call centre says it won't come to that.

They will therefore remove this charge or I will see them in court.

I look forward to the fight if necessary.

i also had a letter this morning telling me that i now owe 25 pound because my voucher was cancelled its been weeks since my goods arrived.

Looks like scare tactics.

They will ask you for the money, the less bawlsy people will just pay it and not put up a fight.

However, if we all show solidarity and have the balls to say `no`. then there isn`t much they can do.

Is it only the £25 discounts that are being reclaimed, not the £10 ones?

Mine was just the £25 one and I only used it once on one account.

I don't think I'm using anymore codes unless they send them to me, too much hassle.;)

Same here. I bought a £29.00 item using a £25.00 code back in July, so effectively paid £4.00 for it. I've now received a statement in the post this morning saying I now owe them £25.00 due to 'Voucher Cancelled'.

I rang them straight away to complain, explained it all and was then put on hold for a few minutes as she said she needed to speak to someone higher. She came back on a few minutes later and said it was a mistake and the amount would be removed and my balance reset to £0.00. She said this had happened quite a few times recently and apologised for the mistake.

Let's see if they stick to their word...
