Did you unzip (extract) the driver file/s to their own directory?

I just downloaded the zip file to the desktop then double clicked on it to unzip.

Well extract the files to their own directory on your hard drive and try to install from there.

Usually when extracting zipped files, you have the option to extract them to a specific directory of your choice, and create one if necessary. If not use windows explorer to create a new directory and try installing the driver from there.

Well if you can't install the proper driver, try this universal Win98 USB mass storage device driver here.

  • I managed to extract the files ok and install the .exe file, so thanks expresso. However I still cannot see the memory stick device when I click on my computer (I have rebooted). The light is on on the stick. Can anyone help with the final leg of the journey?

Have you tried plugging the device in after installing the driver? Drivers should usually be installed before connecting the device.
