A Mistaken Credit Report

Hi All
I would be very grateful if any of you out there could help me. I ran into some difficulty financially about a year ago. I got thrown out of my apartment and was living with a mate, who has since passed on. The reason i was kicked out was that i couldn't afford the rent, the letting agency took me to court, i could not attend the hearing as i had personal issues at the time.
The Landlord / agency got a judgment against me, which was fair enough, but the dates were wrong on the judgment as i had previously vacated the apartment roughly 3-4 weeks before the stated date on the papers. The court obviously ruled in the landlords / agencies favor. The information supplied to the court was inaccurate. Can anyone tell me if i have grounds for appeal. I'm now in a good job and doing really well, but i would like to know how, and what are my chances of getting this CCJ removed due to the inaccuracy of the paperwork
I would be sincerely grateful if someone could advise me
Thank you all

You may get the CCJ dates corrected but I wouldn't think you will get it removed.
It will be on your CR for 6 yrs so don't really think 3-4 weeks difference is going to have the impact you are hoping for.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. Hi,
You can challenge the dates with the Landlord/agents, thats your best bet.
You can only challenge a judgement on specific grounds, this is called a set aside application, it can only be considered if you didnt receive the court papers, or some other serious anomaly occurred, it also costs £255.00 to process this application.
So best dealing with the landlords agent.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
