Thanks @lucielle and @WinterWarrior doggo still not 100% but just keeping my eye on him. Good new the insurance is paying out from his last lot of visits and medication.
I checked the credit card again and it looks as if the payment has gone out. I did receive a text from the CC company asking if I placed the order so I assume they have released funds as I replied I had.
@enthusiasticsaver my acer is going to stay in a pot as the back garden has no grass or soil, it's decking and artificial grass. It's also quite a small area. We do have a front garden which is all grass but it's full sun facing most of the day and I don't think the acer would cope. The one I have bought is a red one. They are so pretty. I still haven't got round to the bulbs or plants for the border. We had a fun packed weekend visiting theme parks with the Merlin passes. First time this season. Took packed lunches and had a lovely weekend although I'm shattered now!Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again0 -
My darling dog spent Tuesday night in doggy hospital and we brought him home Wednesday evening as he was so unsettled there. My 15yo slept on the sofa with him. At 4.15am doggo started barking so I let him out for a wee. He came back in and got on the sofa with my son and I. I wasnt happy with his breathing and was about to call the emergency vets when he had a heart attack and died. My heart is absolutely broken, all of us are devastated. My 15yo is inconsolable.
My comfort is taken that he was home, surrounded by love. 💔

Oh I am so very sorry, our furry friends are such a big part of our life, giving us unconditional love and amazing cuddles.
Sending you love and hugs x1 -
Oh I’m so very sorry, that’s heartbreaking. One of my cats had some kind of seizure and died in my arms a few years ago, so I know how it feels to be there and totally helpless. You gave him a wonderful, wonderful life and he will have known how very much he was loved ❤️ Be kind to yourselves in this awful time, you did your very best for him.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. It is devastating when they die but you gave him a happy life. It so hard that their lives are much shorter than ours.

Hi all, I'm still in shock. He went downhill so fast. I thought we'd have a few more months. He was only 7 ½.
There are so many things that keep making me cry. I just got home after dropping 11yo off at her friends and normally he'd be sitting on the back of the sofa watching out for us and meeting us at the front door. No more tap dancing because he wants something or snuffling in the shopping bags to see if there's any goodies for him.
My 15yo has taken his collar & tag, lead and favourite toys up to his room so I have said I will get a nice keepsake box for him. We also have to decide what to have his ashes returned in. Ideally MrM and I would like to scatter some in our local park where Ozzie was happy and we have lots of family memories, but 15yo is against it at the moment and I don't want to upset him further. They had such a close bond, the love and adoration was mutual and he's really struggling to cope.
