Successful car boot trip. Spent £5.50 total and got a Stephen King book I've not read and about 10 champagne glasses and 6 wine glasses. Getting ready for my 50th party in November. Glasses are so expensive and I don't care if they don't all match.
We've come home, had a sandwich and walked the dog.
The rest of this afternoon is going to be spent in the garden with my book. Might even have a gin & tonic. But need to put the tonic in the fridge first 😕Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again4 -
How are you feeling in yourself now? You are sounding a lot more cheerful. Well done on snagging the book 😊

@KajiKita thanks for asking 😍 I do feel better. Maybe because it's because I'm taking control in one area I can have control over.
Having said that, the feelings come in waves so definitely hormone linked. I'm a member of a menopause group on FB. Lots of women my kind of age feeling the same. So maybe it's just best to park any major decisions. TBH we get on and have a nice life. I still can't see us gliding into old age but I'm ok with that.
On spending front, leaky spends £2.40 in Tesco yesterday. 17yo was hungover and 13yo did a sugar run for him about 5pm once he felt more human.
Off to the in laws for a bbq today after a nice long dog walk planned for this morning.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again2 -
Had a little thought this afternoon. As it looks like my bathroom fund is going to be a bit short, rather than overpaying the mortgage for now, this money is going into my bathroom fund. I currently have £100 in the tillies pot and think for now this is the best use of my tidies.
Had a lovely cheap day. Long dog walk this morning in a wooded area that has a pond. Doggo living her best life! 👌 Met my friend for coffee, paid out of my monthly pocket money and remembered my own cup so a 25p saving. Then bbq at the in laws.
Work in the office tomorrow, will remember to bring emergency soup incase the free lunch disappears before I get into the kitchen again. I'll go and pop it in my rucksack in a minute.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again1 -
Ooh, after reading a few diaries, I remembered I had a prolific survey account. Logged on, spent the last hour updating my answers and found I had a balance of £6.83 to withdraw. 🥳Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again3

An NSD today and managed to get my free lunch 😋 unfortunately I missed a team catch up call whilst eating the lunch 🤦♀️
I had tomorrow afternoon off but had a cr*ppy day at work so I've booked the whole day off instead.
13yo had a great time at Thorpe Park and conquered her fears of some of the big rides so she's on cloud 9.
Did one small survey at lunch time and updated the bank account. About to do my tilly tidying on the joint account and veg in front of the 📺 tonight.
Have a lovely evening everyone.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again1 -

@FootyFanDan is the only reason I go in to the office on a Tuesday! Free lunch is free lunch 🤣
Definitely feeling better in myself. I think concentrating on the money side and getting back into the swing of debt busting is keeping me distracted and has the bonus of getting the debt down not just coasting and paying bloody high interest!Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again3 -
Morning everyone,
I spent an eye watering amount at the hairdressers yesterday having high lights put in but I had saved so once again a big 🥳 for not needing to use credit.
I was awake for quite a while in the night so I did a couple of little surveys I could do on my phone.
Wfh rest of the week due to train strikes. Also need to do a grocery shop as we are down to our last two toilet rolls. 😬Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again2
