    HI

Entered a holiday on here for Malta at the Raddison Hotel - just had a lady call she said she was doing final checks before could be entered into final draw, the draw being held on friday . Does this sound normal for them to do this? does it sound like timeshare?

She wanted to know who i would take etc, if i owned my own house, what i did for a living and hubby etc

    Whats your thoughts on this?

    Sue

They do sound like the normal 'timeshare' type questions. I wouldn't have thought it would be normal to ask those questions on any other competition.

    NOW IN COMPING SEMI-RETIREMENT! :D

  • Just back from DFDS mini cruise to Amsterdam, which I won (yippee) and need a vodka and red bull please. I have over 200 emails and just as many comps to enter and only been away since Monday morning!
Had a great time. Highlight for me was watching drunken 6ft OH attempting to get into top bunk and 6 year old daughter shouting in a restaurant in Amsterdam, "Daddy what does H-A-SHHHH mean?" Thank God she never saw the S-E-X Supermarket!:rotfl:

The thing is (& I'm not a parent) what on earth do you tell them?

Do you tell them what it really is so they don't feel stupid at school when faced with the 'real' explanation, or try to brush it off with a 'you're too young, I'll tell you when you are x years old'.
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
  • Woohoo, I've just had a great big wodge of post! (Looks like they're starting to clear the parcel back-log now.) A Discovery recipe book with 30p-off voucher, my Pirelli cap and a tube of Nivea Soft intensive moisturising cream. :T Ah, it's the simple things...:D

I told DD that H-A-SHHH was a silly cigarette which made you do stupid things, it was all I could think of! OH said I should have just said cigarettes:confused: .
Mind you, when the s-e-x questions are asked I'll be needing those silly cigarettes:eek:

He's 11 years old and thinks "grown up activities" are disgusting!!!!:rotfl:
