My mate just recently fractured her scaphoid bone in her wrist and has had a splint on for 6 weeks. She's been frustrated at not being able to go to work or drive. It's amazing how much you take for granted what you actually do with 2 hands and when one is incapacitated your stuck.

Anyway, catch up on the tv, enter all comps known to man, but shove up on the iced lager, you've been under there long enough now, let me have a go:beer:

Sorry to hear about your arm too Velvet glove. I had half of this year of with neck, spine and shoulder injuries after being assaulted. It was a great for comping See my sig now !

hope your feeling better soon velvet, just take it easy, but dont watch citv all day it'll drive you mad:D HAve to stay in the room with little ds atm as having my kitchen done, and have no sink at the minute, ah well will just have to enter comps all day:rolleyes:

Thanks guys, sorry I didn't mean to have a pity party I keep swinging from guilt at not being at work to 'wow think of all the comps I can enter' back to guilt

I'll be taking it as easy as I can & hopefully gently catching up on things that have gotten slightly behind since the comp bug bit me but also magically staying on top of the comps!

I can see after 3 weeks I won't want to go back to work! (which slightly scares me too!) :rotfl:

I'll be lurking around a lot more than usual for a while Be afraid!

Entered a holiday on here for Malta at the Raddison Hotel - just had a lady call she said she was doing final checks before could be entered into final draw, the draw being held on friday . Does this sound normal for them to do this? does it sound like timeshare?

She wanted to know who i would take etc, if i owned my own house, what i did for a living and hubby etc

Whats your thoughts on this?

Sounds a bit strange, possibly timeshare, but i'm no comping expert
