Big Cat has actually got fed up and wandered off to sleep further down the couch, I think he gets too hot because he's so furry, he's not usually a lap cat so it's always nice when he sits/lies on my legs. Old Cat would stay on my knee forever if was up to him, he's very affectionate and the poor old soul doesn't get to sit on my knee during the day as the kids just harass him and he gets scared.
Thanks Nicnak, they're very nice and warm! I think they just know who feeds them most of the time. 😆 No, they're actually affectionate when they feel like it. Old Cat (the Siamese) will be 13 in May and is my furry shadow most of the time (especially when the kids are elsewhere or asleep). Big Cat comes up and head butts your hand when he wants a tickle or if you're standing with your back to him he will jump up to a table or worktop and pat your arm or back to let you know he wants attention. The claws come out a bit if you don't comply quickly enough. 😂

When I was a little girl (a very long time ago 🤣) we had a Siamese cat and I remember my mum saying they get attached to just one person.They are beautiful cats 😻I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

SA, that does seem to be true, Old Cat is very attached to me and we had another Siamese and she was much more attached to my DH. He was devastated when we lost her. 😞 I can't bear to think about not having my Old Cat but fingers crossed he'll live a long time.
Just putting up another photo of the cats as it made me laugh - Big Cat looks like a thug trying to punch the phone and Old Cat just looks shocked/is hiding behind his bodyguard. 😂
