It is a pain Beanie, DH put some anti-fogging liquid on the inside of my windscreen after defrosting it and it made a big difference last night when I got out of work and had to defrost my car again to go home, it was much clearer. 😀
Work was fine yesterday although I ate a lot of rubbish because I could - no small children begging for a bit of chocolate or your crisps. 😂
I jumped into £land before work for a couple of things and saw some plastic storage baskets that were long and slim, I think they called them bottle baskets or something, so I bought two as I always need more storage. 👀 😂 Anyway when I got home I discovered that they fit perfectly into my spice/stock cube/random vinegars/soy sauce etc cupboard next to the slightly bigger baskets already in there. 🎉 I've been looking for narrow enough baskets to sit in there for years! Delighted that I accidentally found some and they only cost me £2. 😊
I took down some more Christmas decorations when I got home from work so didn't get to bed until after 1am. Then was up at 6:30 with DD for an hour, she was crying and in pain, I think it was a mixture of reflux and teething pain. Gripe water and calpol seemed to sort her out in the end, poor wee lamb.
DH took down the outside lights and I took down the Christmas tree & decorations so all of the Christmas stuff has been packed away again. DS kept trying to put baubles back on the tree. 😂Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Survey totals for 2020;
SB - £250 in vouchers (am@zon, m&s, argos)
£co - £70 cash
Sh0p&scan - £210 in vouchers (am@zon, m&s, next)
Daily tv surveys - £15 in vouchers (Have been lazy with this)
P!necone - £40 cash, £20 vouchers
VO -£10 voucher (not made much effort with this site though)
Y0ursaypays - £20 cash
OP - £100 cash
Panel Op - £10 cash
Vypr - £60 cash
HuYu - £10 vouchers
Purepr0file - £20 cash
PA - £281 cash
Sh0ppix - £20 cash
Youg0v - £50 cash
Snapmyeats - £43 in vouchers (am@zon)
NewVista - £50 cash
P0pulus - £100 cash
Streetbees - £75 cash
Misc focus groups/surveys/tasks - £118 cash
So totals are as follows;
Survey/other online misc cash = £944
Survey vouchers = £558
Cashback = £70 (but DH does the insurances so he'll have made more than that and just counting my own earnings).
Pleased with this, just need to try and use the cash against debts or towards savings totals rather than spending it on treats! I also need to use the vouchers more towards every day things that we would otherwise have to pay money for. I often use them to part pay for things we wouldn't have bought otherwise as the voucher deduction makes them affordable.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. It's absolutely freezing here today, I'm dreading going out to work as it's so icy and we live at the top of a big hill. 😱 DH said he was sliding about on the driveway trying to de-ice his car this morning and quite a few places hadn't been gritted, even in the city centre so a lot of people were falling on the ice.
By the time I finish work tonight it's forecast to be -1 again so will have to defrost the car before going to work and then again before coming home. Fingers crossed I can get back up the hill!!
I impulse ordered some dresses last week which still haven't been dispatched so I emailed the company and asked to cancel them. They said they can't as the order has gone through the system. 🙄 I don't understand why they can't stop it as it hasn't been sent but oh well. Just means I'll need to send them back again, what a waste of time for everyone. I really don't need them so I'm not keeping them.
I tried a new method of measuring myself for a bra yesterday so have ordered some bras in the suggested size to see if they fit. Any that don't are also being returned. I really need some decent ones as am still wearing either maternity bras or stretchy comfort ones that have no real support and are pretty !!!!!!. 😂 The suggested size is 32FF, only a couple of sizes away from what I was wearing before my second pregnancy (32E), so hopefully they will fit.
Got to get ready for work, don't want to go out in the cold. 🥶Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.2 -
Great great survey totals.
I think that you should treat yourself a little after your hard work.
I hope you get to & from work safely.

Hope you got to work okay and will be ok coming home. The conditions at the minute aren't very good at all.

Those totals are amazing, maybe split future proceeds between debt and treats to get a balance?
Now our debt has gone I've started keeping any prolific earnings for myself (seeing as I do the hard work on them) but anything from receipts or TCB goes towards joint ( previously debts now savings).

Those survey balances are great. How do you get the shop one? I do everything click and collect so wonder if I would ever get that one... xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Hi all, thanks, the survey totals actually surprised me, it was more than I thought but good that it was worth the slog!
A split between treats & debt is probably the answer Beanie & Dancing. 👍🏻The ice wasn’t too bad on the way to work, hopefully it won’t be bad on the way home!
Nicnak, if it’s shop&scan you mean you can register interest via this link https://www.volunteer4panels.com/They basically ask you to scan everything you buy through a scanner they send out and then transmit the barcodes once a week. It’s a good panel to get onto.
