Hi all, thanks for dropping by. :) Trying to rest as much as possible but still need/want to get things done. Suppose I'll just have to accept that some things won't get done as quickly as I'd like.

Change of plan for this week, won't be going into work to collect my new work phone as they have apparently decided I don't use my current one, so won't get a new one. Except... I DO use my current one.

Have sent an email to my manager asking that they request one for me but apparently I won't get it until they've finished the roll out for the whole company. So that will be some time after Christmas (maybe) and no doubt I'll be forgotten about (again) as on maternity leave. So annoying.

Went out for lunch with one of my friends from work yesterday so that was a nice break from DS and DH.

DH has bought himself the new iphone and Apple Watch. Luckily he had the money to pay for it so not on credit or anything. He knows he would get into big trouble if he did that. He has sold his old phone for £150 so has put £100 into the garage conversion account and paid another £50 off his NW loan.

DH's NW loan is now under £10k & we have cut a year off the term through making overpayments. :j:T

Wax melts have arrived and smell very nice. :)

Need to look at stocking up on cat food, biscuits and litter so that we don't run out when we have our hands full with DS and the new baby. Will try and do that this week.

Have cashed in more SB for another £5 am@zon voucher so that can go towards something we need/Christmas presents.

:rotfl:  Oh Beanie, cats can be such a pain! I'm quite lucky that mine aren't really fussy with food so I shouldn't have the refusing food scenario (fingers crossed). My mum has that problem with hers though and she gets really annoyed about it.

Checked the prices of the dental biscuits the cats have and same price on am@zon as z00plus. DH has a £10 voucher so he will order them from am@zon and the bag will only cost us £12.99 then. :j

Will order the wet food from z00pus at the end of the week/start of next week and the cat litter after that, still have 5 bags atm.

Went to the dentist this morning, both DH & I got a quick scale and polish (I didn't need to pay as pregnant :j) and the dentist said DS's teeth were perfect. :) Of course DS had to play up in the waiting room whilst DH was in, screaming and rolling about on the floor :o but was fine with DH when I was in with the dentist. He does seem to enjoy winding me up in public!

We took DS for a run about the park after the dentist and he had a great time. Back home now and having a bit of a rest before even thinking about anything else.

DS happy watching a programme about cars/trucks on the tv, he loves any kind of vehicle atm. :)

Managed to get up a bit earlier than usual today as waiting on some deliveries. DH started work at 4am so he was up and away by half 3. I got up at 8am and DS was still snoring so had half an hour of peace with a cup of tea downstairs before he woke up. :)

Forgot to mention the other day that I came downstairs in the morning to find two guilty looking cats and the cat water fountain lying in two bits on the floor. The pump was still running and water was everywhere.

Big cat has been attacking it and obviously decided to knock it off the worktop to see what would happen. Luckily it wasn't broken and we haven't had a repeat (yet). He got shouted at a lot and made himself scarce for a while. :rotfl:

Made tuna pasta bake for dinner last night and fake brownies (no sugar or flour but surprisingly nice). Both quite quick and easy recipes so wasn't standing too long.

Getting shopping delivered this afternoon, DH should be home from work before it arrives. To be honest the delivery men are usually very helpful and hold the baskets up for me so I don't have to bend down to unpack them. Probably just as well as I can't really bend anymore as have no waist these days. :rotfl:

Washed the back door mat as it was really muddy due to all the rain and having clay soil and poor drainage in the back garden. Thankfully it's washable and just about fits in the WM. Did have to put it in the TD on low heat as it was totally soaking though so will take a while to dry.

Now have a washing of DS's stuff in the WM and that will probably go in the TD as it's raining again today.

The deliveries I was waiting on yesterday mostly came early but luckily the first delivery man was kind enough to bring the parcels in for me (it was flooring so no way I could have lifted it) and the shopping delivery man basically unpacked most of the shopping for me. :) DS was "helping" as well and loved the delivery men talking to him. :) Some delivery men are very good with DS (who just wants a wave and a smile mostly) and others are incredibly awkward or grumpy!

I was particularly glad that the flooring man brought the flooring in as I've had delivery men before now basically ditching stuff on the doorstep as it's technically kerbside delivery! To be honest most of them are very good though.

Ended up going into work as one of the managers called and said there was a new phone there for me after all! Nobody knows what they're doing! Went and got it and all set up now.

Picked up my prescription for blood testing strips at the doctors but the chemist didn't have them in stock. They said they should get a delivery today but I'll probably wait until tomorrow to go back as have the chiropractor in the morning anyway and it's just around the corner.

Then went to see my mum for a while and just had a chat, she had been working night shift so was just chilling out.

No real plans for today, should really try and do some housework. DH grumpy as he's on early shifts this week.

Need to wrap birthday presents for my twin nieces and my oldest nephew today. Will be watching my nieces tomorrow for a couple of hours as schools are off and my sister is working from late morning. DS will enjoy the company. :)

Hi Beanie, yes always nice when people choose to be kind. :)

Had a bit of a down day today, was feeling rubbish and tired, my varicose vein has been sore all day as well. :( Feeling really huge and uncomfortable most of the time now as well.

DS was playing up constantly and just crying all the time whenever I said no to him watching tv. He would watch it all day every day if I let him. I must admit I've been letting him watch more again because I've been so tired and can't take him out anywhere on my own apart from the back garden. He just seems to kick off in public and I don't have the energy to deal with it. :(

He also then refused to nap at all today and I could have cried because I need a nap never mind him!! I strapped him into the pram anyway and hoped he would sleep but he spent an hour just chatting, singing and occasionally shouting "Mummy, I stuck!". At least he was secured in one place so I could lie down on the couch even though I didn't get a sleep.

Hopefully he'll be a bit brighter tomorrow as he's going to my mum's for half an hour while I'm at the chiropractor and then we're taking my twin nieces home with us via the chemist for my blood test strips (really need to remember those).

We're also meant to be going out for an early dinner for my oldest nephew's 18th. Worried that DS is going to be a nightmare in the restaurant - he's either a right pain or good as gold but no way of telling what mood he'll be in.

DH is early shift so should be home before we're meant to be there but he said today his job has been changed and he'll be finishing later. I think he just doesn't want to go to the dinner because he's up at 4am again the next day and is grumpy. :( We'll be home for 7/half past at latest as that's DS's bedtime anyway.

Did some hoovering today and wrapped the presents for my nieces and nephew. Let DS run around the back garden for a while then had to wrestle him back in as he wanted to stay out there. There was a lot of screaming and struggling. :(

Before wrestling an angry 2yo I managed to collect lots of bird's eye chillies from our plant in the greenhouse. I have stuck them on a tray in the freezer and will transfer to a bag. Also got a few very small sweet peppers and around 5/6 jalapeños. :T We might get some more bird's eye chillies but think that's about it now from the garden/greenhouse.

DS was actually very good before bed tonight though as he helped his daddy do tidy up time with his toys in the living room. :T It's very hit and miss, most of the time he just stands and watches me do it. :rotfl: But glad he seems to be understanding the concept and helping now and again.

Have set the breadmaker overnight so a loaf will be ready in the morning and have also put the DW on the timer so the dishes will be clean in the morning. Put a washing on after dinner and hung it up on the clothes horse about half an hour ago, nearly forgot about it. :o Also did a quick clean of the litter trays, put out the milk bottles and hand washed a few dishes.

I seem to have a lot more energy at night than during the day just now. :(
