:rotfl: Beanie, I'm trying.
Chiropractor appointment went well, my pelvis felt a lot better afterwards. Walked round to the chemist and collected my blood strips and then collected DS and my nieces.
My nieces were pleased with the presents I got them - fluffy diaries, gel pens and bubble bath. They're easily pleased and were writing in their diaries straight away.
Well, dinner out was exhausting, DS was a total nightmare and refused to sit still or eat anything. He was that horrible screeching child that annoys the whole place.
It was nice to see my nephew and my brother and sister but it was stressful. I should have waited for DH to come home from work and left DS with him then gone on my own!! Oh well, no more dinners out for DS for a while. :eek:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Have had a fairly lazy day today, hung up a washing and did some hoovering and a small bit of tidying. Also a fair bit of hand washing dishes as DH cooked dinner.
Have ordered the cat food and litter to be delivered next week and also bought some things in bulk from am@zon pantry that we'll need and are cheaper from there.
Also ordered some bubble bath/shower gel/body sprays towards Christmas presents and some small toys for my nieces and DS. Probably spent about £25 altogether, will need to make a list of what I have so I don't overspend.
DS has had an attitude again for most of the day, a lot of tantrums when he didn't get his own way.
DH made sweet and sour chicken for dinner and DS ate a good amount, he was especially fond of the pineapple.
Got to go out tomorrow to feed my mum's cat as she's off on a short break, so will take DS down in the car and we can have a walk around her area afterwards.
My chiropractor gave me a row and told me to try and walk at least 20 mins a day. It's a pain here as we are at the top of a steep hill and DS refuses to walk back up it and I can't carry him far right now. So if we drive to my mum's it's fairly flat around there and we can do a biggish circle after feeding the cat.
DH working a day shift so will be a bit grouchy, will have to think of something easy for dinner.
Cashed in more SB for another £5 voucher and DH added an odd £3 from one of his accounts to the EF, taking it to £67. :TSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Wow, you have been busy, Sashy. Sorry DS is not covering himself in glory behaviour-wise.0

Hi VF, yes DS is going through a difficult phase (for all of us! :rotfl:). I have a couple of friends with kids the same age as DS and they report the same behaviour. Right down to the screaming every time the word "No" is uttered and wailing with real tears and saliva running out of the wide open mouth. *shudder* :rotfl:
DS is usually so laid back that I think it's more difficult for me to deal with the bad behaviour. Oh well, hopefully the grotty behaviour picks up a bit but then the new baby is going to arrive and knock his nose out of joint so I think we're in for a bit of a rough ride.
Need to remember and start using the Feliway plug in for the cats soon to try and keep them calm through the upheaval of new baby and raging small child. Pity there isn't an equivalent for angry 2yos. :rotfl:
My sister has just text to say she's fed my mum's cat and he's in the house so I don't need to go down any time soon. Might go after dinner but if not he'll be fine until tomorrow morning.
Will try and do my 20 mins walking by doing some housework, might be able to hang DS's washing out rather than sticking it in the TD and DS can run about the garden for a while. Bathrooms need cleaned as well.
I used a foot mask thing on my feet nearly 2 weeks ago that makes the hard skin start peeling off after a week. It is really gross and my feet look like I have some sort of disease. I hope it stops soon as don't want to go into hospital with manky looking peeling feet! :rotfl:
Need to get DH to plant the bulbs in the front garden asap, neither of us can do it on our own with DS as there is nothing to stop him running away in the front plus I can't bend down that far anymore now anyway. Have been looking at buying some gypsum to help break up the clay soil in our garden, should probably do it sooner rather than later.
Want to get the stuff in my present box listed along with the things I ordered yesterday towards Christmas so I know what I have. When I was wrapping presents the other day I was admiring my wrapping paper storage box again, best thing ever as it keeps all my wrapping paper in one place and stops it getting ripped etc. It's sad that this makes me happy. :rotfl: DH just looked at me like I was weird.
Found a recipe book for Ukrainian and Eastern European food in my cupboard so want to have a look through it as it sounds interesting. DH and I have been to a Russian restaurant a few times and really enjoyed the food so hopefully it will be similar.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. I made goulash in the slow cooker yesterday as had some stewing beef in the freezer. We had it with baked potatoes and sour cream, it was pretty good.
DS ate most of it although not much potato, he is being a bit funny with dinners atm and sometimes not eating anything at all.Tonight he refused to touch any of the dinner I made him.
I gave him a bit of rice pudding as didn't want him to have nothing at all to eat and he had some milk before bed as usual.
Took DS down to my mum's to feed the cat and let him out, DS kept asking where gran was. The cat hadn't come back by the time we were leaving so I had to leave him out. My mum asked my nephew to go round and let the cat back in later as he lives round the corner. I hope he managed to do it as I don't like leaving the cat out overnight. I was going to go back down but DH is working late shift and I'm on my own with DS & knackered.
DH put a washing of towels on (after I left the washing basket full of them where he would see it) and moved them into the TD this morning. I took them out and put them away, will probably need to put a dark washing on tomorrow.
A couple of friends from work are meant to be popping in tomorrow for a visit so I'll need to hoover the living room and clean the bathrooms. Will also go to feed my mum's cat in the morning and hope he'll either stay in or come back before I leave again. I'll take DS again as it gets him out of the house for a while too.
Feeling very tired and grumpy today and didn't get much done at all after getting back from my mum's. I helped DH hem a pair of his work trousers by pinning the hem for him to then use some webbing stuff, hopefully it was the right length as I didn't have much patience for it.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Had a nice time with my friends from work yesterday, they brought pizzas, salad and a cheese board so we had a nice long lunch.
DS was very well behaved and enjoyed the attention.
Before they arrived I went down to my mum's house and the poor cat had been out overnight.I got a very annoyed meow when he turned up on the doorstep.
It's all of a sudden gotten very chilly in the last two days, although still sunny and dry. The cat made sure he stayed in this time as obviously didn't fancy another night out!
I managed to clean the bathrooms and put soda crystals down all of the upstairs plugholes. The sink in the en-suite was smelling really bad but seems a lot better after that. :T
Today I had my appointment at the hospital, baby is head down but not engaged and the Dr wasn't happy about doing a sweep with the way the baby kept moving away. She has booked me in for induction a few days after my due date if the baby hasn't arrived. So now I have a week to persuade this baby to get a move on.
Have had a lazy afternoon but will need to start bouncing on my birthing ball later. :rotfl: DS laughs every time he sees me on it.
Added £4 quidc0 money into the EF today, total now £71.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
