Morning everyone
We got discharged from the hospital at 5pm last night only to return to childrens outpatients 2 hours later as little man was so unsettled! Thankfully we've got baby calpol for him and he's a lot more settled now so we eventually got home about 11pm last night! My list for today will be:
- 2 loads of washing and tumble dry - Not been able to do any washing for a few days and the weather here is awful to!
- Pop round the corner to Boots, get new dummys for DS, a few went walkies in the hospital!
- B/L/D from home
- Check bank accounts
- Surveys while DS sleeps
- Not a NSD as need to pick up nappies and a few bits
Hope everyone is OK and have a lovely weekend x

Woo hoo, I can stay out of the supermarket for another day - initial glance says there is no food in but I found salmon in the freezer and pasta in the cupboard - will mix it altogether with frozen veg, tinned tomatoes and some cheese for a salmon pasta bake.
Also have wine OH won in a raffle at work.0 -
La E - Hope your sock speeds up! I don't get on with toe-up patterns. All mine are knitted cuff down, seamless with just the 2 ends to darn in at the end, one at the top & one at the bottom. It does slow things up using a chart. Luckily the 4 pairs I'm currently doing for an order are all knitted in self-patterning sock yarn (King Cole Zig-Zag.....they have lots of lovely new colourways) so the pattern takes care of itself & I only need to knit straightforward stocking stitch, which is quicker. Knitting's pretty much all I'm good for at the moment, so I'm really working hard on this order, as I'd like to see the cash!

Thanks foxyI was hoping to get some self patterning stuff but then I saw this stuff in the shop (not a yarn shop - just a random shop where it was sitting at the counter taunting me
) so I just went for it. You know how it is when you get that knitting bug :rotfl:
I hope you feel better soon xxxxxx0 -

Evening all :hello: welcome to those new people posting and to those returning. Stick with us. We're lovely (even if I say so myself!)
Sorry been awol. Safe to say I knew I was back at work  been keeping the faith and was paid yesterday :T love doing the money shuffle
I also took back some sale items yesterday. I need to call them though as one item doesn't seem to have been credited. I also managed to get some decent stationary items substantially reduced too. Used gift card so no money spent
Today has been a NSD. Girls to swimming lessons (already paid) and then to a party. Walked there are back :A
DH made lasagne for tea
All good. PF0 -

Fairly productive day all in all. I don't know what's happened to dd but she's gone mad for tidying up - that makes me very happy.
I've done half of my Year 11 reports - but need to have a break from it. One class down and one to go. YL I teach Year 7-11, quite stressful but I love it.
Not a nsd as I did a top up shop and filled the car with petrol but I've minimised my spending. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Evening all,
I didn't get back online last night as I felt rotten. Not so bad today thankfully.
Hello to newbies, its a great thread so I hope you stick with us
Today's list
* Into town first thing to pick up dh's new glasses (as it was before 9am we were able to park close by and not have to pay)
* Popped into the co0p nearby, got 8 little ys pizza's for 19p each (great for nights were we end up feeding kids friends unexpectedly!) also got 2 ys new York cheesecakes at 79p (I know, I know, I know I'm not meant to be buying desserts!! ah well, going to use them tomorrow when we have family over for lunch tomorrow, will serve with some blackberries in the freezer from last summer)
* Then called into my parents for tea & toastFree breakfast, would have cost at least £10 if we'd gone to M&S like one of the kids suggested!
* Came home and both kids homeworks needed to be done on computers and it brought up the issue of whether we should buy another laptop (this saga has been going on since the desktop computer went bang early last year) so looked online and it was going to be about £180 but instead we've bought a Bluetooth keyboard (£15) and will use it with the tablet instead that saved £165!
* Bra's I'd ordered on New years day from debemhams arrived today, ordered a mixture so need to try them all on and take back the ones I don't want (ordered 5 but only want 3, 3 are my usual sort but ordered the other 2 which are much cheaper but with good reviews)
* The rainforest people delivered a replacement trigger head for my broken vacuum, it has solved the problem thankfully, it will be so nice (and far quicker!) to hoover everywhere stood up rather then on my hands and knees using the crevice tool!
* Lunch for kids was last nights leftover chicken curry, we had jacket spuds & beans
Tea was some stew from the slowcooker
* Watched a film from our stash with the kids, covered in blankets having cuddles
* ys meat joint out of the freezer ready for tomorrows lunch
* Edited mr t delivery tomorrow to spend as close to £40 as I could
* Checked fpl/luckyphone/numberplate
That's all I can think of for now. Time for a :coffee: then another early night I think.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Can you not block this buyer FVD? I have had a couple of PITA buyers (but only a couple) and it just isn't worth the hassleRemember you can respond to feedback, so go for it :rotfl:
Not much moneysaving going on here, as I went to an auction and bought some lots  Mainly business stuff, but not all! We did sell some things as well though.
Other than that:
No heating on downstairs, as it is quite mild today (are others having wild swings in temperature, or is it just in the SW? It will be absolutely freezing cold for 2 or 3 days, then really quite warm - no wonder there are so many bugs about)
Walked to post office with ebay sales, just 2 to post today
Sold 2 more bits since then
Babysat for DD2 and her OH tonight, moneysaving for them at any rate
All meals from home - jacket potatoes for dinner tonight - OH had some leftover curry with his, I had salad and grated cheese
Better get something out for dinner tomorrow and get to bed!0
