Hi!
It's amazing how it doesn't take much to make one much more mindful about clothes buying. And it feels so much calmer, doesn't it?It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -

No clothes bought in January - and my other half only bought himself a pair of slippers - think I am leading by example, if I want to avoid the shops it means he doesn't go - more money saved!!!0

Last clothes I bought was a top to go with my existing outfir for my DGS wedding at Christmas , I have several vouchers for M&S at Christmas but as I rarely go anywhere near one I shall save them until something in needed had lots of keks and soxks given as pressies at Christmas and my wardrobe is pretty full so I really can't see me buying much for the foreseeable0

I've done a survey of my wardrobe etc, and I really don't need anything. I always try to keep garments going for as long as I can, so if I sign on to not buying any new ones I shouldn't have any trouble in keeping it up all year - I've got plenty. I know some of my favourites date back well over ten years.
I find you can get away with quite old clothes at smart events as long as you give a bit of thought to how you put your colours together, and wear scarves and things to add a little bit of distraction.
So, here goes - no new clothes until at least next January!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0
