Back from hols and managed not to use more money than I took. Extra £20 spent on petrol getting there and back.
Have managed to find recipe thread, and made 3 bean curry for the freezer , already had everything in to make it with.
Defrosted the freezer this morning , so have room for more food from my batch cooking. Tomorrow I am doing corned beef hash to put in freezer as well .
On the money front , everything is quiet at the minute, need to be careful with money until payday. Trying not to accept any invitations out and do entertaining at home.
I need to get to grips with what I have bought for Christmas for people already , I have a list but think some things I may have missed off .
I have now put 4 enquiries in about ppi and have had one come back with a positive reply , will await others and take it from there.
You have nothing to lose checking if you had it in the past, if you can remember who you had things with ie loans cc etc.
Anyway have been to bargain shop and spent £9.99 , tomorrows weekly shop will be more than £20 as have used all the freezer food up , but I have some extra money as didn't buy much last week being away.
Surveys P A is up to about £8.30 so will wait for a whole to cash out.

Should be back in work today but have had horrendous earache for about 48 hours. Got doctors appointment in an hour hopefully it will get sorted.
On the money front gym have taken 2 lots of money from my account, I had a sneaky feeling this would happen as had problems when trying to get in with my pass. Said it had been sorted two weeks ago but no 2 payments have come out today.
Anyway bank have done/doing a refund and gym have let me have my membership at the lower direct debit rate as compensation. Just awaiting email from said gym of our conversation.
Will be £2 a month cheaper now .

Decorator is finally making an appearance this week. I have a set amount to spend so see what he can do with my allowance. Everything will be magnolia and white , it's a rented property but I like to see it fresh and clean. The hall and stairs hadn't been done for ages so this is where the money is going. Hopefully I will be back at work when he is doing it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
