Out last night only spent £4.24 on food and drink , child's Size portion of famous fish and chips !

    Oops £6 on a skirt much needed , £5 on 2 diffusers a treat . £8 on Xmas gift.

    Serious juggling required.

Tomorrow is mothers birthday lunch. This is saved for thank goodness. Possibly one more social event before payday .

Need to give myself a good talking to. Am still solvent , no cc used but very short on money.

Another spend day , out for lunch with daughter , 8.49 for both of us.

I need to have a low food shop to limp through to payday. I do have a £50 od on my account if I get desperate! Don't really want to use it though.

Can anyone recommend a good flask for taking soup to work in. We do have microwaves at work but they are always busy. ? The ones I have looked at are expensive .

This past pay month has been the hardest so far since I started this journey, but through careful planning I think I will survive it. When I was on a DMP I don't think I learnt anything at all. I know that if I had my time again , I would have done it all differently and that is through the experience and help of other people who have helped since I started in January.

Hi Cumbria. I have a soup pot from Lakeland. It works as a container to transport and then is good to go in the microwave. I'm quite happy with it.

I might make a few soups now for work. Made me remember how much I like it. xx

I recommend a thermos food flask. It is .75 size and keeps soup really hot. You can then avoid the microwave that is always gunky in workplaces anyway. I LOVE my flask :)
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.
